The Auction will take place in Kochi, Kerala, all in one day. Since this is not a large-scale auction, BCCI chose to complete it in a single day. This auction will now feature the players that weren\u2019t signed by any teams or kept by their previous franchises.\u00a0Because it is a mini-auction, the teams have a much smaller budget than in seasons past. India will host the 2023 IPL (as per reports).<\/p>\n<p>According to the\u00a0reports, 991 players have signed up for the mini-auction IPL 2023. Everyone wants to take part in the IPL and give it their best because it is a platform that puts the younger generation of cricket players in the spotlight, as well as provides chance to the senior players to get a comeback call.<\/p>\n<p>The auction will include all 10 franchises. In the IPL 2023 auction, each franchise has a total salary cap of Rs. 95 crores. Every team has used some of their salary caps, though, by keeping some players on their roster.<\/p>\n<p>The IPL 2023 auction is scheduled for December 23, 2022. (Friday). The event will take place in Kerala\u2019s Kochi city. At 11 AM IST, the auction will start.<\/p>\n<p>There are 10 teams who will participate in IPL 2023 auction \u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chennai Super Kings<\/li>\n<li>Mumbai Indians<\/li>\n<li>Kolkata Knight Riders<\/li>\n<li>Royal Challengers Bangalore<\/li>\n<li>Gujarat Titans<\/li>\n<li>Lucknow Super Giants<\/li>\n<li>Punjab Kings<\/li>\n<li>Sunrisers Hyderabaad<\/li>\n<li>Rajasthan Royals<\/li>\n<li>Delhi Capitals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Right to Match (RTM) option will not be available in the IPL auction of 2023. Each team may select a squad of no more than 25 players. The team can only select a maximum of 8 foreign players from among these. 75% of each franchise\u2019s total salary cap must be used. Beyond the salary cap, there can be no purchases made. In the IPL auction 2023, each team is subject to a total salary cap of Rs. 95 crores. 5 crores more than the previous auction, to be exact.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Indian Premier League 2023 Auction will start on December 23rd, 2022.
