Gautam Gambhir<\/a> has had a phenomenal season while mentoring debutants Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) who were at the front foot to win the TATA IPL 2022<\/a>. The Gambhir mentored LSG<\/a> already attracted a lot of surprises with their performances. The debutant team raised eyebrows while defeating the IPL giants but couldn\u2019t launch them into the finals. However, it was the man on a mission, Gautam Gambhir, who fused tactical decisions with a high-spirited attitude. But, the critics have been slamming his participation in the IPL 2022 despite being a Member of Parliament.<\/p>\n

In a 53-second clip video, Gautam Gambhir was heard recalling how he uses the money earned from the IPL. \u201cWhy I commentate in IPL or work in it is because I spend INR 25 lakh every month to feed 5000 people. This translates to roughly Rs. 2.75 crore per year. I\u2019ve also spent INR 25 lakh to build a library.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further continued, \u201cI spend all of this money from my own pocket and not from the MPLAD fund<\/a>. The MPLAD fund doesn\u2019t run my kitchen or other things that I do. I don\u2019t have a tree in my house from where I can pluck money either. Only because I work, I\u2019m able to feed those 5000 people or establish that library. I have no shame in saying that I do commentary and work in the IPL.
