However, the Mumbai Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma<\/a>, came to the rescue of Rishabh Pant. \u201cHe is a quality captain, there\u2019s no doubt about it. In the past seasons, we have seen how he has led his team. Sometimes things don\u2019t go your way. It is as simple as that.<\/p>\n

\u201d I have been through this kind of situation before and I was just telling him about the same thing. This kind of thing happens on the ground, sometimes it just doesn\u2019t go your way. So, there is nothing wrong with it,\u201d Rohit said.<\/p>\n

Rohit further added that the pressure can get to anybody and somebody who is not as experienced as Pant will have problems during the initial stages.<\/p>\n

\u201d You can take a lot of learnings from all of this and try and keep things simple. He\u2019s got a great mind, he reads the game well from behind. It\u2019s a high-pressure tournament and those little fumbles can happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it is important not to lose confidence and not to start doubting yourself. That is something I spoke to him about. He\u2019s a confident guy, he\u2019ll come back strong next season,\u201d Rohit mentioned.<\/p>\n
