Prasidh Krishna came into the international limelight in 2021 with his magical spell against England by picking up 4 wickets in his debut match for India. The tall \u2013 slender pace bowler from Karnataka has drawn accolades from several quarters and is one of the most emerging cricketers in India. He made his List A debut for Karnataka in the 2016-2017 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 25th February 2017. He made his Twenty20 debut for Karnataka in the 2017-18 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January 2018. In August 2018, he was named to India A cricket team for the 2018 A- team for the Quadrilateral Series which is followed by his naming in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in the same year.<\/p>\n
During the Bangladesh A\u2019s tour of India in 2015, Krishna took a wicket on his very first ball dismissing Rony Talukdar, before taking the wickets of Anamul Haque, Soumya Sarkar, and, Nasir Hossain to reduce Bangladesh A to 41\/5. Krishna was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2018 as an injury replacement for Kamlesh Nagarkoti. He has shown tremendous improvement during the three seasons with the knight riders before moving into the Rajasthan Royals Franchise, 2022 for 10 Crores. His base price was 1 Crore at the 2022 Mega Auction.<\/p>\n
So far in this season IPL season, Prasidh Krishna holds the record for the most number of dot balls (148) and most maidens (3). Former Indian bowling all-rounder Irfan Pathan had praised Krishna\u2019s wicket-maiden during the first clash between RR and DC (Delhi Capitals) this season. Prasidh Krishna\u2019s ability to hit the deck and accordingly achieve swing with seam puts him ahead in the race to win and become a prominent figure for the Indian team in the future.
