They\u2019re also the first franchise in the ongoing season to have advanced to the playoffs.<\/p>\n

The GT squad\u2019s Playing 11 is comprised of seasoned T20 players who have already contributed to a win in the tournament\u2019s first matches. Gujarat Titans have conceded\u00a0runs at an economy rate of 7.48 in the powerplay overs in the IPL 2022, ranking second highest among the ten teams.<\/p>\n

In the playoffs, the bowling combination of Lockie Ferguson<\/a>, Mohammed Shami<\/a>, Yash Dayal<\/a>, and Alzarri Joseph<\/a> have shown to be a strong asset for the franchise.<\/p>\n

Mohammed Shami<\/h3>\n

Mohammed Shami has been one of the Titans\u2019 best bowlers so far this season. It\u2019s worth noting his performance in the powerplay.<\/p>\n

So far, Shami has the second most dot balls in the season after bowling 51 overs and delivering 143 dot balls.<\/p>\n

Shami has taken 18 wickets with an average of 21.61 and 7.62 economy in 389 runs conceded, with 11 wickets coming in the powerplay.<\/p>\n

Yash Dayal<\/h3>\n

Yash Dayal of the Gujarat Titans is a young Indian fast bowler\u00a0who is slowly but steadily establishing himself as an important part of the table-pace topper\u2019s game.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s impressive for a young fast bowler to grab nine\u00a0wickets in his first six games, especially in his debut IPL season.<\/p>\n

With an average of 21.88 and a 9.38 economy rate in six innings, Yash has conceded 197 runs and grabbed 9 wickets for the franchise. In the powerplay, he has four key wickets.<\/p>\n

Lockie Ferguson<\/h3>\n

This season, Gujarat Titans pacer Lockie Ferguson has lit the speed gun on fire. In the IPL 2022 chart of quickest deliveries bowled, he is ranked second. Against the Chennai Super Kings<\/a>, the Kiwi pacer established the record with a speed of 153.9 km\/h. Lockie has taken twelve wickets in eleven games with an average of 32.00 and 8.93 economy rate thus far in the season. In the Powerplay, he took 5 vital wickets.<\/p>\n

Alzarri Joseph<\/h3>\n
