Sanju Samson, the captain of the Rajasthan Royals, revealed about his tough phase in career on the \u201cBreakfast with Champions\u201d show. \u201cI was 19 or 20 when I made my debut for Indian team. After that I played again when I was 25. That five years was most challenging period of my career. I was also dropped from the Kerala team and then you have a lot of self-doubt that can you come back. I was continuously getting out and got so frustrated that in one\u00a0game I just threw my bat in the dressing room and left the ground,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Speaking further he said, \u201cI was in Brabourne, CCI and I said \u2018Bhai main chod raha hu cricket, tum rakho ye bat main jaa raha hu!\u2019 (Brother, I am leaving cricket, take this bat, I am\u00a0going!)\u201d<\/p>\n
Samson spent his first three IPL seasons with Rajasthan before moving to Delhi for a few seasons. In 2018, RR purchased Samson for the second time. Samson was promoted as skipper of the squad in the IPL 2021 after three seasons of consistent success.<\/p>\n
