India is set to host England for a full-fledged tour in February and March. With the first test of the tour starting on February 5, 2021, in Chennai, both India and England have won their previous Test series against Australia and Sri Lanka respectively.<\/p>\n
The pitches in India often help spinners when it comes to Test matches. However, England pacer Jofra Archer in his column for Daily Mail believes that his team have enough spin options and said that the matches \u2018would not be one-sided\u2019 if the pitches support spin bowling.<\/p>\n
He further states that his experience from playing in the Indian Premier League would help in his preparation for the series. \u201cI\u2019ve played lots of Indian Premier League here but nothing in terms of first-class cricket, so the challenges of bowling with a red ball will become clearer,\u201d his column stated.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the IPL the batters have to come at you, whereas in Test cricket they can sit on you for a full session if they want and if the pitch is dead there is nothing you can do about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
The pacer had full confidence over his team\u2019s spinners. \u201cSo let\u2019s hope we get some good wickets with a little bit of pace for the bowlers. Or even some turn, because if they spin, the matches will not be one-sided. We have good spinners in our squad and India won\u2019t out-spin us,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
