Tata IPL 2022 is a season of change for the mega-event. With Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans coming in as the new franchises to enter the league. The league had ten teams this year. It was a shock for the cricketing world when KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya were not retained by Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians. After not being retained by their respective sides. KL Rahul was assigned the captaincy of Lucknow Super Giants, with Mayank Agarwal taking over Punjab\u2019s captaincy. Hardik Pandya was also assigned as Gujarat Titans\u2019 skipper.
