At both ends of an innings, SRH\u2019s go-to bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has done it everything in the IPL, from scooping up early wickets to suffocating the opposition in the late overs. His ascension into the cash-rich league, though, was not as straightforward.<\/p>\n
He was one of the first players in the IPL to make extensive use of the knuckle ball, and his arsenal of variations helped him win the Purple Cap for two years in a row.<\/p>\n
In 2016, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was one of the heroes of SRH\u2019s lone IPL title run, claiming 23 wickets. He then went on to take 26 wickets in 2017. Injuries have plagued his performances in the IPL, as they have in international cricket, since then.\u00a0He has 142 wickets in 132 IPL appearances, including two four-wicket hauls and a five-wicket haul.<\/p>\n
