From players to teams, to even team owners, everyone has been on one point or the other being a part of an IPL controversy, and something similar seems to be lurching around the corner once again.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, the founder and former chairman and commissioner of IPL, Lalit Modi took a jibe at BCCI, by the means of a tweet. In his post, he questioned the eligibility of CVC Capitals to make a bid for the teams. Modi alleged that the company has been an owner of a betting company. \u201cI guess betting companies can buy an IPL team. Must be a new law\u201d Modi tweeted. This can reflect quite badly on BCCI if it turns out to be true.
