The Bubble is a system in which the players and their support staff are to remain in isolation from the world outside. At least that was the case previously, now the restrictions are been eased a little, thanks to the vaccines. That however doesn’t mean that players have all the leniency in the world. While in the bubble they’re still made to follow several rules and restrictions. As a result of which many cricketers either pulled out of IPL completely or left it mid-way due to bubble fatigue.

Chris Gayle of PBKS was one such player who pulled out of the tournament due to fatigue. Now there are two more players, from RCB, who are released from the bubble. Wanidu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera, are to join the side before the World Cup begins, therefore they’re released from the squad. The two Sri Lankans came into the Bangalore side as a replacement for Adam Zampa and Daniel Sams of Australia. Out of the two, only Hasaranga got the opportunity to make his IPL debut. He played two games for his side but was unable to make an impact.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Wanindu Hasaranga & Dushmantha Chameera have been released from the RCB bio bubble as they join up with the SL team for their #WT20 qualifiers.

We wish both of them the best & thank them for their professionalism & hard work during #IPL2021. #PlayBold pic.twitter.com/m8U2p4YaiK

— Royal Challengers Bengaluru (@RCBTweets) October 11, 2021

The RCB announced their departure on Twitter, and the side will have to do without the service of these two players as they take on Kolkata Knight Riders, on Monday for the Eliminator match.
