Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell thinks there is no room left for him to make a comeback in Test and neither he is on the management\u2019s list for the red ball cricket. Australia began 2021 with the nasty shock after losing the Test at Gabba in Brisbane against an inexperienced Indian team.<\/p>\n
While Australia entered into the series as the favourites, India came out as the winners. They not only retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2021 but also defeated Australia at Gabba where they were unconquered for 32 years.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think I stand anywhere near it, to be honest,\u201d the 32-year-old told Herald Sun newspaper.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019ve got their idea of what they want. They\u2019ve got guys in there at the moment who are very, very good first-class players.\u201d<\/p>\n
Maxwell played his last Test in 2017 against Bangladesh. With two T20 World Cups in the queue, he wants to focus on the limited over cricket.<\/p>\n
\u201cCameron Green we can see is going to be an absolute superstar, Puck (Will Pucovski), Travis Head\u2019s on the bench averaging 40 in Test cricket.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019ve got more than enough,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s one of those things where sometimes it\u2019s a bit of a double-edged sword,\u201d Maxwell said.<\/p>\n
