  1. Ravi Shastri, head coach of the Indian cricket team has made an important statement on Rohit Sharma\u2019s injury. He stated that \u201che could be in danger of injuring himself again\u201d and advised the batsman not to rush his comeback.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Rohit Sharma suffered a hamstring injury in MI\u2019s match against KXIP and has been on the bench since then. Earlier this week BCCI announced the Indian squad that will travel to Australia and the batsman was not named in any squad.<\/p>\n

    \u201cIt\u2019s being handled by the people in charge of the medical part of it. We don\u2019t get involved in that. They have submitted a report to the selectors and they have gone about their business.
    \n\u201cI have no say, neither am I a part of the selection. All I know is the medical report which says he could be in danger of injuring himself again if he is not careful,\u201d Shastri told.<\/p>\n

    In Rohit Sharma\u2019s absence, KL Rahul will play the role of the vice-captain. Shastri did not look surprised at the decision. \u201cIt is not surprising at all.
