Formula 1 will continue with six Sprint weekends in the 2026 season<\/strong>, with the calendar seeing a mix of familiar venues and three new additions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Sprint races were held at Shanghai, Miami, Spa-Francorchamps, Austin, S\u00e3o Paulo and Lusail<\/strong>. For 2026, Shanghai and Miami remain<\/strong>, while the Sprint format expands to Canada, the Netherlands and Singapore<\/strong> for the first time. Silverstone<\/strong> also returns to hosting a Sprint after several years away.<\/p>\n

The inclusion of Montreal<\/strong> marks the first-ever Sprint race at the Canadian Grand Prix<\/strong>, while Zandvoort<\/strong> and Marina Bay<\/strong> will also stage Sprint weekends for the first time, adding a new dimension to two of the most challenging circuits on the calendar.<\/p>\n
