After an unexpected defeat of Australia against India, Justin Langer Australia\u2019s head coach on Tuesday said that he has learnt of the massive lesson from the setback is \u201cnever, ever, ever underestimate the really tough players\u201d from that country.
\nA shocked Australia\u2019s head coach Langer appreciated India for the lion-hearted effort and to win Border-gavaskar trophy 2-1, even though playing with a second string side.<\/p>\n
The loss that India faced in Adelaide after being decimated for three days in the series opener has lowered India\u2019s test score of 36 in the second innings.<\/p>\n
Langer in an interview with Channel 7 said that, \u201cit was an incredible test series and in the end there is always a winner and a loser. Today test cricket is the winner. India deserved full credits. It\u2019s going to hurt us big time. They have been outstanding but we have learnt lesson from it.\u201d He also added that, \u201d First of all never take anything for granted and secondly never ever underestimate the Indians.\u201d Langer also appreciated efforts of Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja though they were suffering from injuries they remarkably fought back after Adelaide debacle.<\/p>\n
India has Found new starts such as Washington Sundar, Mohammad siraj, Shubman Gill, and Shardul Thakur who totally surprised the Aussies with the spirit of never-say-die. Langer said that, \u201cI can\u2019t compliment India enough. They haven\u2019t gone aways after that first test match which we won in three days. The big lesson for us is that you can\u2019t take anything for granted, India never got away.<\/p>\n
Appreciating Rishab Pant Langer said \u201d It was an amazing effort by Rishabh pant, pant\u2019s innings reminded me of Ben Strokes\u2019 innings. He walked in and he was fearless and it was and unbelievable innings.<\/p>\n
