Explained"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"102\" data-end=\"295\">With just two races left in the 2025 Formula 1 season, fans are asking one big question ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix: <strong data-start=\"221\" data-end=\"295\">Does Lando Norris become world champion if he finishes second tonight?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"297\" data-end=\"370\">The simple answer is <strong data-start=\"318\" data-end=\"370\">NO \u2014 the title fight will continue to Abu Dhabi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"372\" data-end=\"383\">Here\u2019s why:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"595\">Lando Norris leads the standings with <strong data-start=\"423\" data-end=\"437\">396 points<\/strong>, followed by <strong data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"474\">Oscar Piastri (374)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"479\" data-end=\"503\">Max Verstappen (371)<\/strong>. For Norris to secure the championship today, he must meet one of the following conditions:<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"638\"><strong data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"636\">1. Norris must win the Qatar GP<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"639\" data-end=\"727\">A victory guarantees him the title <strong data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"688\">regardless<\/strong> of where Piastri or Verstappen finish.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"765\"><strong data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"763\">2.
