Rajasthan Royals (RR) have made the team with a perfect mixture of youth as well as experienced in the batting line-up thanks to a great player auction, said skipper Steve Smith.<\/p>\n
Steve Smith also added that the variety of players in both batting and bowling team will help them combat different conditions in the UAE.<\/p>\n
In a recent interview with Sportstar, Steve Smith said the Rajasthan Royals (RR) have got their bases covered, and thus have no particular area to make restoration in.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got a great combination of youth and experience in the batting line-up. Some really experienced internationals who\u2019ve been around a fair bit and some very talented and exciting Indian guys who add great value to the squad. Our bowling has a lot of variety; good fast bowlers and some quality spinners. I think we\u2019ve got a good setup, which will be important in different conditions during the IPL\u201d, Steve Smith\u00a0said.<\/p>\n
Steve Smith want experienced players to help out the young players.<\/p>\n
Smit will be working alongside the Australian head coach Andrew McDonald and Shane Warne.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve also got some experienced players like Jay (Jaydev Unadkat), Varun (Aaron) and Robin Uthappa who have been around the IPL for a while now and will be vital for the season, helping the young boys in the squad to settle.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs far as the youngsters go, the under-19 World Cup showed the quality of guys like (Yashasvi) Jaiswal, (Kartik) Tyagi and (Akash) Singh. Riyan (Parag) was really good last time around and hopefully he can continue that this time, too,\u201d added Steve Smith.<\/p>\n
Jaiswal was the leading run-getter with 400 runs in six matches, Tyagi picked 11 and Parag 2 wickets.<\/p>\n
