The Emirates Cricket Board on Tuesday announced the COVID-19 reared protocols that will be put in place during the Indian Premier League beginning on 19th September. The tournament will be played across three cities of the emirates; Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. ECB mentioned that they have taken all the necessary permissions for IPL matches in the three different locations. The teams will also be able to travel directly to the venues and return to their hotels, without having to undergo quarantine.<\/p>\n

The 13th edition of the league will be played behind closed doors in a bio-secure environment in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was supposed to be played in the Indian summer but was postponed due to the seriousness of the virus spread. The tournament is shifted to UAE and is set to begin this month.
