As the final regular season ends for the Los Angeles Lakers, head coach Frank Vogel\u2019s journey also ended after spending three seasons with the 17-times NBA Champions. Vogel gets fired by the team announced on Monday.<\/p>\n
LA Lakers won the 2020 championships under the management of Vogel and were a heavy favourite at this season\u2019s Western Conference but it didn\u2019t happen how it was supposed to be. 11th in the Western Conference Lakers couldn\u2019t even qualify for the Play-In Tournament in the 2021-22 season. To contend for it, LeBron needed to play at least 56 games while he played 2 lesser.<\/p>\n
Russell Westbrook, the two time MVP champion was also blamed for the downfall of the Lakers and now Vogel is paying the price of the failure by being removed as a head coach of the team that went struggling throughout the season.
