Tyler Herro scored 26 points to lead the Miami Heat to a 103-90 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday night. The Heats were led by Duncan Robinson\u2019s 21 points and Kyle Lowry\u2019s 11 points and 11 assists. Miami was without Jimmy Butler (right ankle sprain) and Bam Adebayo (bruised left knee). Butler, who averages 23.6 points per game, has now missed three consecutive games.
\nThe Thunder were led by Lu Dort\u2019s 20 points and freshman Jeremiah Robinson-16 Earl\u2019s points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was averaging 22.6 points per game entering the night, had a season-low 10 points on 2-of-11 shooting.<\/p>\n
At halftime, the game was tied 43-43. In the third quarter, Miami led by 14, but Aleksej Pokusevski scored a 3-pointer in the final seconds to cut the Heat\u2019s lead to 74-67. For Miami, Robinson scored 13 points in the first quarter.
\nWith little over two minutes remaining, the Thunder had trimmed the deficit to eight points before Miami\u2019s P.J. Tucker made a corner 3-pointer.
\nOnly four field goals were made inside the 3-point line in the first half. The Heat shot 9-for-19 from three-point range and 4-for-21 from inside the arc. Just before the halftime buzzer, Lowry\u2019s short jumper knotted the score at 43. KZ In the fourth quarter, Okpala received a technical foul.<\/p>\n
Derrick Favors, the centre, took a break. Despite shooting 35% from the field, they led 24-23 at the end of the first quarter. Josh Giddey, a rookie, had six points, nine rebounds, and nine assists in the game.<\/p>\n
