The newly turned 19-year-old from Spain has just won his fourth ATP title of the year beating No. 3 player Alexander Zverev at the final of the Mutua Madrid Open 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Zverev was not the only top seed that got beaten by him. Alcaraz hammered several quality players this season including two of the Big Three players. The No. 9 ATP rank outlasted his idol, Rafael Nadal, in the quarterfinals before he beat World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in their first meet to become the only player to beat both of them back to back on clay at a young age. The player defeated three top-ranked players back to back to clinch the trophy in the Spanish capital.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Zverev had some motivational words for the emerging star of Spain. The German professional said, \u201cRight now, you are the best player in the world,\u201d reported\u00a0<em>Tennis TV\u00a0<\/em>in a post-match interview. He further said to Alcaraz that Spaniard has the capabilities to win many Grand Slams and at the tournament many more times.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Alcaraz has so far won Rio Open, Miami Open, Barcelona Open and now a trophy at Madrid Open.
