The Polish professional was a heavy favourite at Madrid, Spain clay event but was forced to withdraw from it following an injury to her right shoulder.<\/p>\n<p>Swiatek wrote on her Instagram handle about her sudden withdrawal saying, \u201cUnfortunately my team and I decided that I need to withdraw from Madrid.\u201d She further stated that she expects to be back at the tournament next year.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"pl\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83c\udfbeUnfortunately my team and I decided that I need to withdraw from Madrid. Poland\u2019s Swiatek has so far lifted four WTA trophies this year back to back taking her winning streak to a very long 23 games. The top-seeded player continued to be impressive with her tremendous performance and became a heavy favourite for every tournament she participated in.<\/p>\n<p>20-year-old Iga came past several seeded and quality players to clinch four WTA titles in her 2022 tennis season.
