Andy Murray, former World no.1, who has entered the Master\u2019s Event through wild card entry at the Indian Wells, has pledged to donate his prize money to help the children in Ukraine who is affected by the ongoing crisis in the war-torn country. The 34-year-old is working with UNICEF to provide the development kits and medical supplies under the same cause.<\/p>\n
The Brit had addressed the decision on his Twitter handle and said that his earnings from prize monies for the rest of the year shall be donated to UNICEF. He added that due to rising conflicts more than ever in the eastern European country, children immediately require resources of medical supplies and early childhood development kits. He also mentioned the role of UNICEF amidst the humanitarian response, which is to enable access primarily, learning for displaced children and also the rehabilitation of damaged schools, together with replacement equipment and furniture. He has also urged people in the UK to follow suit so that the shortcomings due to the war could be met as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
