Barbora Krejcikova won the Prague Open final on Sunday, defeating fellow Czech Tereza Martincova to win her third championship in four tournaments. On Prague\u2019s hardcourt, world number 13 Krejcikova defeated 78th-ranked Martincova 6-2, 6-0 in one hour and five minutes.<\/p>\n
In May, the 25-year-old Krejcikova won in Strasbourg, and in June, she won at Roland Garros. At Wimbledon, she was defeated in the last 16 by eventual champion Ashleigh Barty.<\/p>\n
In Prague, she regained her winning form, winning 20 of her last 21 games. \u201cI\u2019m really happy it ended up like this,\u201d Krejcikova said.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cTereza is playing great tennis these days, and it wasn\u2019t as clear as it looks,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Martincova, who was playing in her first WTA final, was more aggressive early on, but her resolve did not last long, as Krejcikova broke her for a 3-2 lead. Martincova was largely restricted to the baseline by Krejcikova\u2019s varied game, which was based on a solid serve and forehand. She won the first set with relative ease.
