He announced his decision of skipping the major event on Tuesday through Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>39-year old underwent two knee surgeries previously in the year 2020 that concluded in restoration for more than a year. Swiss had earlier withdrawn from the Roland Garros tournament despite winning in the third round. The decision he made was to save himself and re-store for Wimbledon Championship as it was his main priority.
