Both of them were serving second in the decider and saved four of the five break points they faced. Their rival pair played well on their serves and had not received a single breakpoint in the final set of the two-hour seven-minute clash.<\/p>\n
In the starting 29 minutes of the match, the Dutch-Slovenian pair took for the loss of three games and was played in three parts on Tuesday. The first time, the score was 1-1, the second time it was 3-2. When the players returned to court number two, Bopanna and Sania broke Rojer\u2019s serve in the set\u2019s second game and led to a 4-1 lead.<\/p>\n
The only break in the decider came in the 20th game when the Dutchman\u2019s forehead sealed the 70-minute third set and the match. Hence, this loss was the end for both the Indian pair in this year\u2019s Wimbledon. Rohan had paired with Divij Dharan and was knocked out in the very first round of men\u2019s singles.<\/p>\n
Sania Mirza will be seen in action at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 after this loss at Wimbledon. Now, she will pair up with Ankita Raina in the women\u2019s doubles. On the other hand, Rohan Bopanna participation in the Olympics is paused, with withdrawals from higher-ranked opponents being his only hope.
