Sumit Nagal is the first Indian after 7-years to win a round at a major Grand Slam after Somdev Devvarman who had reached second round of French Open, US Open and Australian Open, Sumit Nagal achieved this feet by defeating United State\u2019s Bradley Klahn 6-1, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 to further qualify for the next round of the Grand slam.<\/p>\n
With this recent performance by Nagal he becomes the first Indian after 7 years to win a singles main draw match at a Grand slam. Nagal came out with all guns blazing in the first two sets of the game by winning the sets by 6-1, 6-3 which was a major boost for Nagal, But Klan did come back in the tie in the third set and winning it by 3-6 which added more competitive spirit to the game.<\/p>\n
