The entire Pakistani team was issued with a final warning from New Zealand Cricket and New Zealand government over disobeying COVID-19 protocols, due to which 6 Pakistani players had tested positive for the novel coronavirus, now the 7th member of the team has also contracted for the novel coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne additional member of the Pakistan cricket squad has today tested positive,\u201d the Ministry of Health said in a statement on Saturday, confirming the seventh patient.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe remainder of the results from the squad\u2019s day-three swab testing, apart from the six who have already returned a positive result, are negative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The entire Pakistani team had tested negative before leaving for New Zealand, but upon thei arrival 6 members were tested positive for COVID-19. While according to the COVID-19 protocols, all the overseas player mandatorily have to undergo 14 days quarantine period.
