The winners of the ICC Awards are typically chosen by a panel of former players, elite umpires and match referees and veteran media personalities.<\/p>\n<p>As the year 2020 has come to an end of the past decade and\u00a0 start a new year, all the ICC awards are focused on the entire decade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s The List of Players of The Decade Award Nominations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two Indian players have been nominated for the Men\u2019s player of the decade award which includes names like Virat Kohli and Test off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The other players to have been nominated are:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Joe Root (England)<\/li>\n<li>Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka)<\/li>\n<li>Steve Smith (Australia)<\/li>\n<li>AB de Villiers (South Africa)<\/li>\n<li>Kane Williamson (New Zealand)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There has been only one Indian woman player to have been nominated for the Women\u2019s Player of the Decade award (Mithali Raj).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ther other nominations are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ellyse Perry (Australia)<\/li>\n<li>Meg Lanning (Australia)<\/li>\n<li>Suzie Bates (New Zealand)<\/li>\n<li>Stafans Tylor (West Indies)<\/li>\n<li>Sarah Tylor (England)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Test Decade of The Player Nomination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Indian captain Virat Kohli has his name on this nomination list as well, and is the only Indian on it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other nominations are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-transform: initial\">James Anderson (England)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-transform: initial\">Rangana Herath (Sri Lanka)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Joe Root (England)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-transform: initial\">Yasir Shah (Pakistan)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Steve Smith (Australia)<\/li>\n<li>Kane Williamson (New Zealand)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ODI Player of the Decade Nominations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>3 Indians who have been extremely consistent throughout the decade have been nominated for this award.
