Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and MS Dhoni has been in a talk, since the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 season. MS Dhoni hadn\u2019t played any big games and had announced his retirement just few months prior to the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Dhoni fans wished to see him in great action but, CSK and MS Dhoni didn\u2019t had a great season this year. The franchise failed to make it to the playoffs for the first time in the history of the IPL.<\/p>\n
With Chennai Super Kings (CSK) playing their 14 matches, MS Dhoni could only manage to get 200 runs at an average of 25. MS Dhoni, during the last match of the CSK this season clarified that he is not going to retire from IPL.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIf Dhoni decides on playing only IPL every year, then it\u2019s impossible for him to perform. It\u2019s not a good thing to talk about age but at his age (39 years), the more he plays, the more his body will be tuned,\u201d<\/strong> Kapil told \u2018ABP News\u2019.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you don\u2019t play any cricket for 10 months a year and suddenly play IPL, you can see what happened. You can always have a season up or down if you have played so much cricket. It has happened to someone like Chris Gayle also,\u201d<\/strong> the World Cup-winning former skipper said.<\/p>\n \u201cHe should go back to first-class cricket (domestic List A and T20) and play there.\u201d The straight-talking former all-rounder made it clear that it will be a challenge for Dhoni given that he has already indicated that he is \u201cdefinitely not\u201d retiring from the IPL.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIf someone has achieved so much, the dip in form does affect and it becomes a challenge.
