Atletico Madrid has won it in the end by 3-2 on penalties against Inter Milan. Inter Milan who were the last season\u2019s finalist are now out of the league with a disastrous performance. Atletico Madrid beat Inter however it wasn\u2019t much convincing as the game went onto the penalties.<\/p>\n
Inter Milan were playing well but didn\u2019t manage to utilise on their chances in the game and thus faced the consequences. Atletico on the other hand compensates the first leg performance by scoring goals in the second half. Atletico scored 2 and Inter had only 1 which made the aggregate scoreline 2-2.<\/p>\n
Atletico Madrid had an amazing chance to finish it off in the last minute but the ball went far from the post at a very close distance which lead the game into the extra-time and then penalties. Inter Milan had most of the possession on the ball and also did more passes than the Simeone\u2019s men, still end up in the losing side.<\/p>\n
