Ashok Dinda, one of Bengal\u2019s premier pacer in the record book is all set to move away from the state, after he received (No Objection Certificate) NOC from Bengal on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Ashok Dinda who was wiped out of the state team last season following an ugly disagreement with bowling coach Ranadeb Bose.The 36-year-old Dinda, who was axed after Bengal\u2019s match against Kerala, is now free to play for another state.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Dinda had requested ( Cricket Association of Bengal) CAB president Avishek Dalmiya to provide him the release letter to play for another state in 2020-21.<\/p>\n \u201cWe would like to hereby accord our concurrence to your request and this letter may kindly be treated as our No Objection Certificate to your playing for another state team in 2020-21 season,\u201d Avishek Dalmiya wrote in a letter to Ashok Dinda.<\/p>\n \u201cI must assert that your contribution to Bengal cricket is immense over the years and it is something that would always be acknowledged and cherished by the association.\u201d Avishek Dalmiya added.<\/p>\n Ashok Dinda, who has played 13 ODIs and nine T20Is for India, has 420 first class wickets and is the second leading wicket-taker after veteran Utpal Chatterjee (504).<\/p>\n Ashok Dinda, earlier has announced he would sing up to play for another team in the 2020-21 domestic season. Ashok Dinda claimed to be a victim of politics. He also announced that he was already in talks with few State teams.<\/p>\n \u201cI will not be part of Bengal any more, that\u2019s for sure. It was a decision I had taken last season only. It\u2019s my personal matter,\u201d Ashok Dinda was quoted by PTI.<\/p>\n \u201cYou have seen what Sushant Singh Rajput had to go through. Shob jagay eki jinish (it\u2019s the same everywhere). But I\u2019m mentally strong and nobody can break me. I will play for some other State. I\u2019ve got a few offers and discussions are on.
