Prasidh Krishna\u2019s debut in Indian jersey was no less than a dream. The 25-year-old pacer was opened into the Indian crew for the 3-match ODI series against England without Indian backbones pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami.<\/p>\n
The debutant pacer made a marvelous Vijay Hazare Trophy execution behind him, Prasidh Krishna made the most of each second as he got his Maiden ODI cap in the First ODI against England. Regardless of giving lot of runs in his initial spells, Prasidh made a solid rebound with the ball in his subsequent spell.<\/p>\n
Speaking in his first post match presentation, Prasidh Krishna said, \u201cIt didn\u2019t start off well and they came hard at us because we bowled poorly, but we had belief. We picked wickets in a cluster and that helped us a lot. I understood after my third over, I can\u2019t bowl full, and then I hit good length areas, and let the ball do the rest.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking about the importance of the IPL in shaping him up as a strong bowler, the debutant said, \u201cIPL has helped me, but it\u2019s important in a 10-over format it\u2019s more important to come back. I\u2019d like to be known as a hit-the-deck bowler, and I\u2019m trying to get the length more consistently, and I\u2019m going to go back to the drawing board and improve upon it\u201d.<\/p>\n
