There were also chants directed at former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, who was in attendance as part of the Sky Sports broadcast team. These chants were related to an incident in 2018 where he was filmed spitting at a passing car.<\/p>\n<p data-private=\"redact\" data-wt-guid=\"e800163a-5ccb-416b-a4bf-481f3df7ba32\">In a statement, the club said, \u201cChelsea FC condemn the inappropriate chants heard by some home fans during this evening\u2019s game.
