Manchester City are out of the Carabao Cup after they were defeated by Southampton FC on Wednesday night, 11th January. The game was played at St. Mary\u2019s stadium. It was a proper game for the underdogs Southampton as they scored two without a reply in the game.<\/p>\n
The Premier League\u2019s defending champions Manchester City has lost only their second game in EFL Cup since Pep Guardiola has taken charge. Southampton FC scored two goals in the game and both came in the first half. The gap between the two goals from Southampton was only 5 minutes.<\/p>\n
The first goal of the game was scored by the striker named S. Mara in the 23rd minute. 5 minute later that goal, Djenepo scored a wonder outside the box. Djenepo saw that the City\u2019s goalkeeper Ortega was out of his line and he curled the ball past him from a long distance.<\/p>\n
