His retirement came on Independence Day\u2019s evening and left everyone speechless, He has earlier announced his retirement from Test Cricket in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Dhoni will be remembered for his amazing contribution he has made to the Indian Cricket and also winning the World-Cup in 2011 under his captaincy. Here\u2019s the list of records MS Dhoni holds in all formats of Cricket.<\/p>\n<h3>Test cricket:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Under Dhoni\u2019s captaincy, India topped the Test cricket rankings for the first time, in 2009.<\/li>\n<li>Dhoni is the most successful Indian Test captain with 27 Test wins, eclipsing\u00a0Sourav Ganguly\u2019s record of 21.<\/li>\n<li>Dhoni has the most overseas Test defeats by an Indian captain, with 15.<\/li>\n<li>Dhoni is the first Indian wicket-keeper to complete 4,000 Test runs.<\/li>\n<li>Dhoni\u2019s 224 against Australia in Chennai is the third highest score by an Indian captain.En route to 224, Dhoni registered the highest Test score by an Indian wicket-keeper when he was on 193, beating Budhi Kunderan\u2019s 192.
