The Premier League has agreed to move Arsenal\u2019s game against the defending champions City from the previous evening\u2019s original schedule (October 19). A new date is need to be found for the fixture.<\/p>\n
The scheduled match between Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven on Thursday at the Emirates has been postponed due to a lack of police in London during the UK\u2019s period of national mourning.<\/p>\n
The game against PSV has been moved to Thursday, October 20, while Arsenal\u2019s match against City, which was initially set for October 19, has been moved to October 20.<\/p>\n
A UEFA announcement read: \u201cUEFA today announced that the UEFA Europa League tie between Arsenal FC and PSV Eindhoven, originally scheduled to be played on Thursday 15 September, will now be played on Thursday 20 October at 19:00 CEST (18:00 local time).\u201d<\/p>\n
The new date for the Premier League game will be announced soon. Thanks to the decision, Arsenal will now be able to finish all of their European obligations before the domestic season is interrupted for the World Cup.<\/p>\n
