Former left-arm fast bowler Ashish Nehra recently named his pick for India\u2019s greatest match-winner with the ball. He named his former teammate Anil Kumble apt for the name. With all thanks to his stunning exploits with the ball, Anil Kumble is regarded as the country\u2019s greatest match-winner.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst time I saw him was on television only when Anil Kumble was playing for India,\u201d Ashish Nehra said on the Cricket Connected Show on Star Sports. He added saying, \u201cHe had those huge glasses, but as you keep on playing your face, mannerisms and style keep changing every 5-6 years. But I would definitely agree that with the ball, he was India\u2019s biggest match-winner.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brett Lee, who played a game of cricket against Kumble<\/a>, recalled the year when he first saw Kumble on the TV.\u00a0 In his India debut as a 19-year-old (1990), Lee thought of Kumble as a \u2018university student\u2019, but soon the image transformed into one of the biggest legends of the game.<\/p>\n
