After a great month for Newcastle, Eddie Howe has been chosen Premier League Manager of the Month for February.<\/p>\n
Following Steve Bruce\u2019s sacking in October, the Magpies have witnessed a comeback under Howe, including an extremely good February.
\nNewcastle United\u2019s remarkable performance in February garnered Eddie Howe the Premier League\u2019s manager of the month honour. His first award as Toon manager was secured with triumphs over Aston Villa, Everton, and Brentford, as well as a remarkable point at West Ham.
\nAt AFC Bournemouth, Howe had won the manager of the month accolade three times. Newcastle had not won manager of the month since Steve Bruce received it in April last year for a late run of performance in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
In their four matches last month, they triumphed three and drew one, pushing them outside of the bottom 3 for the very first time since September. They are now 14th in the table, ten points ahead of the relegation zone, and will strive for a top ten place by the end of the regular season.
\nMikel Arteta, Ralph Hasenhuttl, and Jurgen Klopp also were nominated for the honour, but it went to Howe.<\/p>\n
