The player already agreed to personal terms and it will be a five-year contract. Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta and director of football, Edu Gaspar have wanted \u00d8dergaard since June and now, it\u2019s a done deal.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal, after their 2-0 loss to Brentford, are desperately looking for some positive news which can cheer the fans up and this may do that job, before their match against fellow London rivals, Chelsea FC.<\/p>\n<p>Martin \u00d8dergaard was considered one of the most promising players in the world when he was part of the Real Madrid Castilla team in 2015. He broke into the first team of Real Madrid, the same year but he faded out after years of loans in SC Heerenveen and Vitesse but did pretty well in his loan spell for Real Sociedad.<\/p>\n<p>He played a few games for Real Madrid in the 2020\/21 season but went on loan to Arsenal FC during the second half of the season. He got an appraisal for his performances for the club, hence Arsenal\u2019s pursuit during this summer.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d8dergaard was hoping for a spot in Real Madrid but Ancelotti has clearly outlined that there is no place for the Norwegian midfielder.
