However, the former ATK Mohun Bagan defender already agreed on the terms with the Croatian Side to join them on August 11, Wednesday. He had a dream of playing in foreign countries. He always wanted to play in Europe and now it seems his dream has come true.<\/p>\n<p>Sandesh Jhingan decided that he wants to leave ATK Mohun Bagan this summer. He got an offer from an Austrian team and also a Greece team but he chose to join the Croatian side. He was also made the captain of Kerala Blasters FC in the 2017-18 ISL season. Later on, he also went to many clubs on loan including Bengaluru FC, before he joined ATK Mohun Bagan in 2020. He played the whole 2020-21 season for ATK and helped the team finish second in the Indian Super League after Mumbai City FC. Sandesh has also won the 2020-21 AIFF Men\u2019s Player of the Year Award because of his superb performance in the Indian Super League as well as in the Indian National Football Team.
