{"id":10353,"date":"2021-07-03T18:29:35","date_gmt":"2021-07-03T12:59:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.businessupturn.com\/sports\/?p=119663"},"modified":"2021-07-03T18:29:35","modified_gmt":"2021-07-03T12:59:35","slug":"leeds-united-sign-jack-harrison-on-a-permanent-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.businessupturn.com\/sports\/football\/leeds-united-sign-jack-harrison-on-a-permanent-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Leeds United sign Jack Harrison on a permanent deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Leeds United has signed Manchester City winger Jack Harrison on a permanent deal.\u00a0<span style=\"text-transform: initial\">Harrison made 128 appearances in all competitions for Leeds and had spent the last three seasons on loan with Leeds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Leeds has activated an option put in place in Harrison\u2019s contract during last season\u2019s loan deal that allowed the club to sign him for an undisclosed fee from Manchester City.\u00a0<span style=\"text-transform: initial\">Leeds, who had announced earlier on Friday that Stuart Dallas their player of the year had signed a new three-year contract, confirmed they had taken up their option to make Harrison\u2019s stay permanent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The West Yorkshire club said: \u201cAs part of his loan deal last season, an option was put in place for Leeds to sign Harrison on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee, which has now been activated.\u00a0<span style=\"text-transform: initial\">Harrison has put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Elland Road, running until the summer of 2024.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The 24-year-old has signed a three-year contract at Elland Road that will run until the summer of 2024.\u00a0<span style=\"text-transform: initial\">Manchester City signed Harrison in January 2018 from partner club New York City after entering MLS as the No 1 overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He was loaned to Middlesbrough until the conclusion of that season.
