Former India batsmen, S.Badrinath has said that one thing he picked up from MS Dhoni is to let things flow if they are going in the right direction and not tinker with it too much.<\/p>\n
Badrinath has played under Dhoni\u2019s leadership, both in the IPL under Chennai Super Kings franchise, and for the national team.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne thing that I learnt from Dhoni was that if something is going well, it\u2019s important not to tamper with it. Even we don\u201dt know, but something is working. And it\u201ds better to not touch it. CSK is one of the most grounded franchises because we always went there and did our jobs,\u201d Badrinath told Hindustan Times.<\/p>\n
Dhoni, who turned 39 a few days ago, has been on a sabbatical from the sport ever since India\u2019s heartbreaking semi-final exit to New Zealand in the 2019 world cup.<\/p>\n
It\u201ds been almost an year that he has been away from the cricket field, yet conversations about his return or future retirement have never died out in the time since and he still remains one of the most talked about cricketers in the present era.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u201ds important he chooses. His body is also something that has gone through quite a bit. There\u201ds a reason why he doesn\u2019t play First-Class cricket or Test cricket because his back has also troubled him. It happens with any keeper, once you\u2019ve played so much cricket under so much stress,\u201d said Badrinath.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u201ds probably taking stock of how much he\u201ds left in him. A player of his calibre, nobody should decide whether he should play the T20 World Cup, he should play IPL. It\u201ds upto MS to decide what he wants to decide. Right now, there is too much speculation going around as well, most of it is not true,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
