Inter Milan\u2019s Achraf Hakimi has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Paris Saint Germain until 2026. Chelsea was also interested in signing the right wing-back, but it seems as if PSG has won the race to sign the player. This is a huge transfer blow to Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel\u2019s plans who had placed Hakimi on his priority list.<\/p>\n
PSG hasn\u2019t agreed to the transfer fee with Inter Milan yet. However, they are close to reaching the valuation of Inter Milan as the Italian club is waiting for Paris Saint-Germain to send the improved official bid of around \u20ac70m [add ons included] to complete and sign the Achraf Hakimi deal. Chelsea had also matched Paris Saint-Germain\u2019s \u00a356.1m (\u20ac60m) offer for the Moroccan international. Inter was inclined to deal with Chelsea due to their interest in Chelsea players Emerson Palmieri and Andreas Christensen. But PSG\u2019s superior bid plus the player\u2019s intention of playing for the Ligue 1 giants have swung the deal in PSG\u2019s favour.<\/p>\n
Hakimi was signed by Inter from Real Madrid last summer for a fee of around \u00a340m. He established himself on loan at Borussia Dortmund for two seasons and performed spectacularly at the European level.
