The Jadon Sancho transfer saga finally looks to be completed, with reports from England stating that Manchester United is close to signing the forward.<\/p>\n
Manchester United is close to completing a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho. Sancho has been linked with a move to United since early 2019 but it was the summer of 2020 in which they tried extensively \u2013 and failed \u2013 to land Sancho. Dortmund had a \u00a3108 million asking price set on the playmaker last summer but they have since lowered that valuation on considerations of his contract and the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
United have reportedly bid \u00a372.5 million for the winger but Dortmund has informed the Premier League giants that this bid falls short of their valuation. A conclusive deal has not been agreed to yet between the two parties however Dortmund is willing to close the deal if the next bid is in the region of \u00a377 million. There is optimism among both parties that an agreement could be reached next week. Dortmund is also expecting add-ons and bonuses to be added to the deal which could see United pay them up to \u00a381 million based on Sancho\u2019s performances. Manchester City could also net around \u00a311m from Sancho\u2019s move to Old Trafford as they included a 15% sell-on fee on the winger\u2019s deal following his move to Dortmund from their academy.<\/p>\n
Sancho, 21, is on international duty with England for the 2020 Euros and has reportedly agreed to a five-year deal and will become United\u2019s joint-top earner on wages of \u00a3350,000\/week.<\/p>\n
The England international had an explosive campaign last season for Dortmund as he recorded 16 goals, 20 assists in 38 appearances for the club.
