Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho showered a great deal of praise on midfielder Pierre Emile Hojbjerg after Spurs\u2019 2-0 win over North London rivals Arsenal. A wonderful long ranger from Heung Min Son put Spurs ahead in the 13th minute before Harry Kane extended their lead just before half time.<\/p>\n
A win on Sunday pushed Tottenham backed to 1st in the Premier League table. A major talking point since the game has been he signing of Pierre Emile Hojbjerg. Signed for just 17 million pounds from Southampton, Hojbjerg\u2019s arrival has improved Tottenham defensively, allowing the likes of Tanguy Ndombele to push forward and create chances.<\/p>\n
Hojbjerg has been a solid midfielder in the Premier League for years and has really gone under the radar. Considering the impact the Danish defensive midfielder has had on Mourinho\u2019s Spurs, this signing is one of the bargains of the transfer window.<\/p>\n
The Portuguese manager had nothing but good things to say about the 25 year old.<\/p>\n
\u201cPierre is, first of all, very intelligent. He reads the game very well. He\u2019s going to be a coach one day, for sure. He\u2019s a pain, asking questions about why we do this and why we do that.
