Sweety Boora of India wins her semifinal match against Emma Sue Greentree of Australia to advance to the finals of the Women’s World Boxing Championships.
Similarly to Nikhat Zareen and Nitu Ganghas, Tokyo Olympic bronze medalists Lovlina Borgohain and Saweety Boora reached the gold-match round of the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in New Delhi on Thursday.
In the semifinals, three-time Asian medalist Saweety (81kg) defeated Emma-Sue Greentree of Australia 4-3 on points. She will now go up against 2018 World Champion Wang Lina of China in the final on tomorrow.
