As anticipated, Gnansekaran triumphed in both of his matches, defeating Yew En Koen Pang in singles 3-1 and Koen Pang and Yong Izaac Quek 3-0 in doubles. Even though Sharath lost his match 1-3 to Zhe Yu Clarence Chew. Desai defeated Clarence Chew 3-0, though, to secure the victory for India.
