Users can now register for Battlegrounds Mobile’s first esports tournament which kicks off next month.
The inaugural leg of Kraton’s Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 will take place in India with a prize pool of Rs 1 crore, where the winner takes home Rs 50 lakh. Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021’s first tournament registrations are now open on the esports website of the game. Users can find it on the company’s website as well as its social media accounts. Users will be able to participate in several matches during the three-month-long inaugural series. There will be five main stages during this period, however.
A total of 16 teams will compete in the Semi-Finals. There are five qualifier rounds, which will eventually reduce the total number of teams to 16. On August 2 through August 8, the first round called In-Game Qualifiers will take place. There will be three rounds from here until the final round. Only champion teams will compete in the Grand Finals, where the winner will be announced. The round will run from October 7 until October 10. Participants must play 15 matches with their appointed team members in order to qualify for the In-Game Qualifiers, which is the first stage. Only the top 10 results will be considered from the 15 matches.
