WTA tournament is going on in Montreal and there’s some good news for the Canadian fans as Bianca Andreescu reached the third round of the competition after beating Harriet Dart. After recovering from her injury she has shown a proper class in her game and won 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 against the British girl to secure her place in the third round of the tournament.

Andreescu’s win percent on her 1st serve was way better than Harriet’s. Bianca Andreescu won 88 points in total in this match. “It was an awesome atmosphere out there, I was super emotional and got goosebumps walking out with the crowd cheering. There may have only been 5,000, but it seemed like a lot more,” Andreescu said to AFP
However the Canadian couldn’t play in the Olympics. She had to cancel her name because of the injury. she was sad as she wasn’t able to represent her country in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. “Bouncing back was the most satisfying thing,” she said.

Bianca Andreescu is a Canadian professional tennis player who was the champion of the US Open in 2019. She was also scheduled to play some games in 2020 but she couldn’t as she was injured the entire year. Andreescu also became the first tennis player to be born in 2000 and win a Grand Slam singles title.
